How much does a MOT shop charge for...
programming channels on an MT1000?
It all depends on their policy. For example, one local shop here will do it on a per radio basis, and another one wants a minimum one hour of labor for programming!
If your not rich, , try hollering for help here. There must be other Batboard members in your area with a RIB and RSS for it. If i was closer i would offer, but the cost of shipping the radio back and forth doesn't really make it any cheaper, though it would probably be cheaper than most Moto shops charge these days.

Duct tape is like the force, it has a dark side and a light side and it holds the universe together.

- What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).
I can do it...
SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT.
If there are no other defects with the radio, I can give it a program/checkout for a flat $30, return shipping via priority mail included.
PM me if you want to set something up.
