What style head does the current setup use/have?

If it's an x4, x5 or x7 it's easy. You just unscrew the head and plug it into the body of the radio (using an interconnect board of course). You can pick up interconnect boards very cheap.

If you have an x9 head, you'll have to change some things in the software. What you'd have to change I'm not sure as I've never dealt with the x9 style head.

Maybe not. I guess I have several that I've picked up by converting dash mount to trunk mout radios. I got them for free...lol

I've seen them on Ebay before for less than $20.00.

What's the going rate for them?

I bought a worthless non-functioning 800 spectra off ebay once just for the interconnect board!

I need an interconnect board too! So if anyone has one let me know, i was going to put a wanted post up here shortly.

I have a remote mount front that i would be will to trade for an interconnect board.
