Price on NEW ht750?

just recently ran across a new HT750 for $400 w/ batt, ant and charger in box never used or programmed. it is VHF 16 channel. was wondering if this is a good price. i have read so many bad things about the waris series thought i would see what anyone else thought about price and if it was worth it.

Sounds about right for used.

The only thing to watch for (sorta) is the firmware revision. The real early HT's with ver 1 & 2 firmware are buggy. I think current is 6.x. Firmware on these should be upgradable at your local MSS without too much of a problem or cost. Other than that, I actually like the little guy now (I have the lowband version).

For the $$$, you can most likely pick up a display model on ebay for just a couple of $$ more. I picked up a NIB 1250 full keypad for $600.

I can run the serial number for you on this unit to check date and warranty.$400 is a god deal for new in box HT750.

We just bought 9 HT 750s last week, in the Intrinsically Safe flavor, for approx. $650 each, if that helps any?
