MT1000 APRS?

Post by AHSGA »

Hello,

Has anyone hooked up a MT1000 to a APRS? I was thinking of a Tinytrak and a Garmin GPS 18. I would gut a MT, making the smallest, lightest package I could. Any special considerations with the output/input to a MT1000?

Regards

Should be easy enough to do, all the connections including external antenna is available at the accessory connector on top. Just remember than you have to ground the select lines to make the external transmit and receive audio connections active.

As well as the external antenna connection also.
