i seem to have misplaced my startsite manuals, does any one have the part numbers of the install and opp manual and any other manual relating to it? or have pdf copys please let me know

Could anyone explain to me this startsite thing? I saw a radio on ebay with this and have never heard of it.

its a basic form of smartnet it replaced privacy plus trunking

Startsite was also a limited controller, only 7 channels. Beyond that you went to a full blown controller.

My two bits worth:
The Start Site controller looks like a desk top PC.
It supports 5 channels. It does everything a Smartnet ll system does.

The Smart Works is a 7 channel controller that uses the same card set as a 21 or 28 channel Smartnet ll controller, except the code plug, U48 will not work in a 21 or 28 channel controller.
