Looks Like a 800mhz MTS2000 - Pre-Toolproof if 5.13 is the version.

Ok. That is what the radio reads out on its display when you put it into test mode. What I need to know is could this be an mtx8000 or something else in an mTS2000 case. a friend sold this radio and the buyer says it can't be read with the windows version of mts2000 rss. It will read with dos 06.04.00.
I beleive the radio was recased so thgere is no sticker on the back. Could this radio have been hacked and can it be unhacked?
progarm history shows<b>
Model H01UCD6pw1bn<b>
Software option H36<b>
serial number 466AVLxxxx<b>

Is there such a radio as a 4-5 watt 800mhz handheld or is the 1-3.9 watt the only one available.
Thanks.

A 466 serial number is an MTS2000, not MTX, assuming that the correct serial number is still in the radio. 3 watts is max. H36 is (I think) Startsite trunking.
