HT1250 Radio Programming Scan

Post by ericsze »

Programmed an HT1250 VHF full keypad with about 96 channels, and I can't get it to read/write anymore. It usually will say that it can't read it, and/or that it is unable to get the codeplug from the device in order to verify whether it can write to the radio or not. However, once in a while, it lets me through and I can write to it. Weird.

Other then that, all my programmed things are in, except the ability to edit the scan list. I'm pretty sure the scan feature was checked for "user-programmable" or somehting like that.

Anyone have any ideas on these problems? any solutions?

Make sure in the CPS that you already put (Scan-#) in the pull down box, on every channel that you want to scan. Then, after that, you can edit the scan from one of those channels, and add channels as you go along. Just make sure that you enabling the user-programmable option.
