Help with a "Parts" xts3k

Post by TheOCAstro »

Ok, I'm sure I have one of those "Nick" radios that numerous post and stickys keep refering to:

Model#: H09RDH9PW&BN

Host: 7.08.00
DSP: 8.02.02

Flash: 591008-4F1E009-9

It does have a serial number in the CPS but no stickers, My problem is it will receive our Digital channels but will not transmit on them, is there anything I can do, possibly hopefully somthing wrong with programming, can I dump this flash and just get the one I need.....anything???

Most likely needs an alignment, assuming it is programmed correctly.

Bring it to a qualified shop and have them align it.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Conventional or trunked?

Do you have the right NAC if conventional?

Other than that, I would say that the radio would need to be properly aligned.

yep.. been there done that... anytime an S-rec gets blown in, the radio should be realigned... a teeny bit off and you get wierd things on astro... not just on TX, but RX as well.

find someone with a nice Astro capable service monitor to have that puppy aligned and ill bet she will be right as rain

Well that worked, not sure if your supposed to do it this way but I copied an alignment from a working radio and now this radio works like a charm, again Thanks for all your help.
