XTS2250 and XTS4250 - what CPS do they use?

Post by Wicho »

Well, I've been reading around and people say they can be had much cheaper than XTS2500's or XTS5K's, and since I do have a relative in Brazil and many in Mexico...I just might have to start looking into it (out of curiosity, of course).

The big question is: do you use Astro25 CPS to program them or something else? If it is region specific software, does a hack exist like there is for the Pro series software?

Looking forward to hearing from y'all on this.

Yeah, uh...never mind. I should have looked harder. They use the same CPS as the US versions of the radio.

Bad Wicho.
