What happened to cause the corruption? Programming / service / disassembly, dropped, etc.?

A little more information on how the radio arrived at its current condition would probbly help the troubleshooting.

Yea, reprogram it with another SLOW computer. Make sure you are using the program under pure DOS. Also, check your cables, connections, etc.... What type of RIB do you have and what computer are you using?

Try using a nice old 386 or even a 286! if you can find one. I bet a new codeplug zapped in with these things in mind will fix you up.

HI:

1st thing to do is check and see if you
can read and write to your Saber.

Also, the use of a 386-486-25 is highly
recommended.

Pentiums you can use at your own risk

If you have a 386-486-25, and a good
stable program platform, you can try
and create a NEW RPF ( Radio Personality File )

From there, Create the [ Proper ] RPF with the
modules matching your radio....

Select the Tuning Parameters ( inside the Radio ),
and just program the radio.

Should work, if it does not work, I would recommend
