I am new to 800mhz systems and im looking to pick up a radio for a 800mhz Type 2 System. Will the radios being sold by Panter88 work for this system. The system is for Horry County S.C Thank you for your help

+1 I know quite a few Horry County cops and know that the sys-admin is pretty on the ball so it would not take long for a rouge radio to get the big fail


Back to the facts, you'd need a radio with the right features (flashcode). While most of the public talkgroups are analog, there has been some talk of some digital TGs so the radio would have to be capable of that as well.
