CONVERTING ASTRO SABER II TO III?

CONVERTING ASTRO SABER II TO III?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if a Astro Saber II can easily be converted to a Model III just by swapping out the housing??If it is possible,what steps is needed?

This has been covered ad naseum in the past...do a search here or on the interwebz and you will get enough info to make your head spin.

As far as I know, the quick anwser is "yes".

You need a model III S record in it and a model III front shield so it can utilize the buttons.
