Paging system

Post by ronnywadilie »

Hi there ,
i am busy with setting up a paging system(Pocsag).
Making use of a M15 ,a M33 and a GM360 ,as link transmitter.
As paging transmitter ,I am using a m66 interfaced to a NAC.
From M15 to output NAC is working, but does not activate my beeper.
Any advise ?

Dev level:4.6 Khz

Monitor looks like a digital signal.
Not sure whether my settings on the M33 are good or not.

Interesting. I have never seen a mobile do digital paging without screwing it up. Just not linear enough. But, I haven't done it with the CDM series. Okay - so you're using an old Motorola M15 terminal. Will it do pocsag? I thought it was flex only. Or are you talking about Zetron products - the Zetron M15, M33, and M66 terminals and controllers?

Try inverting the data (either in the pager programming, or in the encoder programming)

In this case the mobile is sending analogue modem tone. It's not until after the M66 that it is digital.

He mentions using a "NAC" for the paging TX. I don't know what a NAC is.

FYI, we have done several installs using GM300's for digital paging TX (512 baud POCSAG). Just use the flat TX input. Very sucessful.
