Motorola XTS 1500 Power Up Failure
I have an almost new XTS1500 that was working fine. Turned the radio off and it sat for while, now it will not power back on. I have tried several different batteries and nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
Radios I currently own:
HT1250 VHF, XTS2500 800 MHZ, CDM1250 Low Band, CDM1250 VHF

If it's almost new, time for a trip to the depot!

Re: Motorola XTS 1500 Power Up Failure
The radio hasn't been used much. It was mainly a spare unit. Motorola wants a bench charge of $430.00 to even look at it. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Re: Motorola XTS 1500 Power Up Failure
Well the question is, is it new enough to still be under warranty?
Re: Motorola XTS 1500 Power Up Failure
If the radio is no longer under warranty, there are alot of great techs here on Batlabs that can check out the radio for a reasonable small rate.
In Memory of those that serve.

Is it trunking? Might have got shut off in the system. Radio won't show anything if it did.
