HT1550XLS F/W ver. for FPP ?

HT1550XLS F/W ver. for FPP ?

Do all HT1550XLS do FPP or is there a particular F/W ver. start for this feature ?

I am not aware of any version of firmware that allows FPP, except with the RED battery. Maybe some one has more info, I have a few I wouldn't mind upgrading to.

They all do it. That was a feature of the radio when it was released.

The latest 1550 firmware is version R05.17.02, released July 2011.

all ht155xls radios can do fpp but only with the red battery. There is no special firmware that allows it, just the chip in the red battery

I thought so, the only purpose built FPP radio I know of is the JT1000, the XTS radios need a flash. On the same subject has anyone taken the chip out of a RED battery and installed it in the radio itself? I have a few RED batteries that are reaching their end of life.
