Old news, Google buying MMI was announced months ago, the news here is that antitrust regulators in the US and EU have given their approval, now the deal is done.

This has caused a large number of some real good technical people to be dumped out on the street. Every action has a reaction. In this case it is the house cleaning of their good technical people. Well more power to Google in the long run. They think they have some of the best managers.

TIME will tell on this one.
