2005 Impala Police 12 volt feed under dash

Post by N4KVE »

Hello. I just picked up a real clean 9C3 car, & I'm wondering if there is a place under the dash to connect a 2 way radio. In the trunk there's factory wiring for a trunk mount radio, & I know there's a grommet on the firewall for a floor shift cable [which I don't have] which I could use to route a cable from the battery. I'm just wondering if Chevy provided connection points under the dash like they did in the trunk. I bought the car & went on vacation the next day [still in Canada] but will be home soon. The radios will be front mounted. GARY N4KVE

The 9C3 had the exact same power connections as the 9C1 on the passenger side there should be a loom with all the power ground and relay turn ons.

the 2005 and 2004 are the same as far as wiring.
