I just had an IM with the seller of several radios on Ebay, I am quite skeptacle if they even exist, I will include a copy of the IM that transspired between the two of us, the seller said he didn't care, I will also post a link to his auction. Hopefully, none of us will get burned by a kook like this.

Looks like he just cut and pasted all the info from M's website! I tried to read through it but I can't figure out weather he is selling a UHF. VHF., 800 or what !!! This does not look like something you would want to gamble on, unless you just like to gamble!

-not unheard of, but unusual.

I agree with everyone else, stay away from him. If he provided an actual picture of the radio that he owns, that would be a different story. And if he says "well, I dont have a digital camara", then ask him how he came about to afford thousands of dollars in radios, but lacks a digital camara. Then on top of it all, dosent know a clue about it (it was allready established that he copied and pasted the info. from Motorolas website.

I wouldn't bid on his auctions if he were selling new boxers, let alone top of the line radios

I'll play along without fronting any money. I'm trying to get the serial numbers from the radios along with model numbers. Assuming I can get them, anyone wanna run them through NCIC? I'd be willing to set this guy up for a sting operation. By looking at everything that he's selling and the language in the IM above, I'd be willing to bet that everything is super hot (duh). It'd be cool to send a message to these people...

Honest to god, is he TRYING to get himself arrested? I mean, scamming a $25.00 battery is bad, but he just agreed to scam you out of $12,000!!!

i sold this guy an ht 1250 ls that i had laying around. he paid via pay pal and payed for overnite shipping. he paid right away. i do not know about any of his other items. lol. glad i got my money.
