Talk Permit and Voice volumes

Post by marcosorourke »

I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the volume of the talk permit tone (or all the tones) to better match the volume of the voice. For example, when I press the PTT button the talk permit tone is very loud, but when I'm receiving the voice from the other user is much lower than the talk permit tones.

Is there any way to adjust the tones?

Yes, there is a field in "General Settings", under "Alerts" where you can define the offset for tones vs voice volume. Factory default is 0 dB, which would make them equal, but someone obviously changed it.
