XTS 3000 or XTS 5000? Also, I know a lot of the menu commands will not work with the HHCH (i.e. FPP, etc)

Will the HHCH even work with the open face XTVA? I am getting data on rj45 pin 2 and busy on rj45 pin 3 with every keypush. I programmed a side and top HHCH button for monitor and it works. PTT works(another data word on the HHCH) The top 6 buttons and vol, mode do nothing. So some work and some dont but all send data when prressed.
I already tried the processor initilization.

Any help appreciated.

I'll have to defer to others here who have used an XTS3000 with the XTVA. I heard with others who have tried with an XTS 5000 that the one main control that didn't work was FPP, but there might be others.

I should also mention this radio was hacked from a model II to a model III and still has a model II model number inside. I may have to try to put it back to a model II if I can find the original s record. Either that or figure out how to change the model number in the current s record to see if it is siome wierd hacking problem.

It is probably missing all the hhch data within the code plug. I have corrected several that are missing this. It's not fun.

I think it might be easier if I start out with a clean s record and change the serial number to match. What I have is an XTS3000 m3 RDH H09RDH9PW7BN. Any help appreciated.
