Out of band information for GP300 5T

Post by Johnno »

Hello, Is it possible to modify a 438-470Mhz split P94YPC29C2AA to accept frequencies such as 476.425 up to 477.400. I am aware of a software mod that will enable this change in the GP300 standard radio (doing it via the .MDF file) but have not got a clue what to do in this situation. All responses will be of help I'm sure. Thank you, Johnno (Australia).

hello johnno
I thinks, you can modify the split of your gp300 to 477 but not more with out internal modifie. I change the split on a gp300 from 438 - 470 to 430 -470, to acces the european ham band (430-440). it is run well, but at 429 the pll don't locked.

On euro version rss there isn't the mdf file but the gtd file, it containes all frequencies informations see the end of this web page to mod this file : http://www.batlabs.com/gp300.html

i use hex workshop as hex editor
