Hello all
I am adding two remote mics (one each) to two base station radios.
Can I use ONE piece of shielded wire for the two separate radios?? ie: 22/6 shielded.
I know I need mic hi, PTT and ground from each radio.
They are both from the same power source.
Thank you for the advice!!!

Re: CDM1250 remote mics
I see no reason why you can't use one cable for both. However, I would give some thought to including the hook line from each radio to the remote mic. You may not need it now, but it might be handy to have in the future if radios get replaced.
Re: CDM1250 remote mics
You could always use the accessory connector for one of the mic connections. There is even a software setting to change the mic gain setting if needed.

Yes am planning to use the accessory connector - Running 22/8 for the 2 radios for mics and 18/4 for the speakers (2 conductors each).

Re: CDM1250 remote mics
I have seen my competition go so far as to use a simple RJ 1->2 port adapter. I'd probably want to think about isolating the mic audio from each mic but frankly the competition's solution didn't blow anything up to the best of my knowledge although I'd not make the recommendation myself....
