What are you trying to do?
It might be much easier to use the accessory connector for just about all that is on the mic jack. Besides, you didn't indicate what control head your using. Is it the O3, O5, or one of the W series.

Re: Pinout needed: XTL mic jack
Ok I am trying to figure out the following:
I have a XTL mobile mic which is the ONLY mobile mic which Motorola has as water resistant.
I am essentially planning to hack off the end of the plug to be used with a CDM radio. I need the pinout of the mic jack so i can figure out which pins/wires do what!
Can you help!?!??!

Re: Pinout needed: XTL mic jack
edit: okay, I see you probably want the wire colors.... I don't know if you can figure that out from this or not.
This is what I have for it...
Looking at wire side of the male plug with one of the notches at the top so that the center pins are horizontal the pins should go
-1---2-
3-----4
--5-6-- (pins in center)
7-----9
-9--10-
1) n/c
2) PTT Hi
3) n/c
4) n/c
5) Gnd/Mic Low
6) n/c
7) Mic Hi
8) n/c
9) Hang Up
10) PTT Low
Pins 5 and 10 connected internally in mic cord

Re: Pinout needed: XTL mic jack
Duh... stupid me.. colors should be same as old spectra mics, unless the waterproof one is different than the standard XTL mic.
Mic Hi - Red
PTT - Green
Mic Lo - Black
PTT Lo - White
Hangup - Blue

I think the individual that requested this information is not interested. I have sent him an email, sent him a private message and nothing in return. So guess we can shut the door on this one.
