XTL5000 W4 Motorcycle head - which programming cable

Post by 256QAM »

I have on my bench a UHF XTL5000 with a waterproof W4 control head. There is no Spectra style mic connector on the face of the control head - the microphone is connected to a DB9 pigtail that comes off of the back of the control head cable. Which programming cable am I suppose to use for this? On batlabs there is a hand written pin out for the W head style microphone connector to the DB25 RIB connector, is it possible to build a cable to do the same using the DB9 on the control cable pigtail or is there a different programming cable altogether?

Thanks!

Program through the 26 pin on the back of the radio
