70's Motorola HF Radio question

Post by azlooker »

Hello All, I have been searching for years for some info about a set of radios I came across in the 70's. I was working at a electronics surplus and demolition company. Some equipment came in from the USAF. It was a group of 4 synthesized and channelized Motorola HF radios that were all solid state. Each unit had several knobs to set the frequency, a volume control, squelch control, and microphone connector. They were mounted four to a large aluminum panel and placed in a large aluminum box. The units had been demilled by cutting the harness and cables inside. Of the 4, I managed to get one working. The individual units were fairly small. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
