XTS5000 replace side buttons?

XTS5000 replace side buttons?

I have several 5000 housings all with issues, I found a few good ones but the purple side button is cracked and ptt does not CLICK. I'd love to see if there is a way to swap out the buttons and ptt... Don't see why it's not doable like the xts1500, 2500 models...

Any help would be appreciated.

I've not found a way other than replacing the entire housing.
