I have a CDM-1550 (Non-LS) VHF. I am not sure if I have a true problem or a programming not correct problem. I am not getting any audio from either the front speaker (It is plugged in) or the rear speaker when attached with the acc. plug. I can change the setting in the CPS to handset and receive audio is fine through the front plug, using a handset. I have no history on the radio. It meets all other specs (TX and RX). Is there a speaker plug somewhere on the main board?
Thanks for any help

Brian Griffin: Ah, if my memory serves me, this is the physics department.
Chris Griffin: That would explain all the gravity.
.
Lois: Peter, you're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted because I've been up all night drinking.

Re: CDM 1550 audio problem
My first guess would be that the speaker amp is blown. AFAIK there's no programming setting or jumper on the board that would disable speaker audio like you're describing.
