I have a Motorola MTR3000 I have acquired-It is a MTR2000 Converted to a MTR3000-I have Used HDX Hex Edit and it works on hex Convert-As soon as I try and load Converted Code plug the repeater rejects and says hardware does not support the freq range and will not let me program?
I have converted XPR8380 and XPR6580 to Ham freq 900 MHZ with no problem. I can not get this MTR3000 to go to ham freq?, Do I need special software? My freqs are 927.9125TX/902.9125RX. Thanks for all the help with my project here in Las Vegas, NV

Just curious, do both rx and tx error when trying out of band? I know the mtr2000 uses a resistor array in the pa to determine band, it may be the same with the 3000.

You can't write the freqs to the radio. It bounces. No one I know has gotten this to work.
