Pyramid wireless keying CM300

Post by arlojanis »

I have a CM300 mobile with a Pyramid wireless mic. Every time the car is parked at the office, the CM300 keys and stays keyed until time out and then keys again.
Can blue tooth, wi-fi, video recorder download or other stray signals cause the mic to key a transmitter? No other cars have this problem.

Should have said all cars have wireless mics.

I take it this the WM-1000?

Those are 900 MHz spread spectrum. I would think that would be rather immune to interference. Perhaps there is some RF getting into the connecting cable.

What kind of troubleshooting have you done? Have you tried changing the mic's channel? Have you swapped out the mic and cradle? Does the problem only occur under certain conditions, such as when the mic is in the cradle? Is the vehicle in a particular parking spot when it happens and if so have you tried another vehicle in that spot? Try to narrow it down as much as possible.
