Help with Old Motorola Tone Remote

I have a Old Orange Desktop tone remote that i'm trying to get interfaced to a new CPI Tone termination board. The model # of the Tone remote is T1611B, this thing appears to have came over on the MayFlower. I need to know what screw terminals i need to hook the line out to the tone termination panel too on the bottom of the remote. There are several for Deskmic, Tone Encoder, Etc. i just need to know where to hook the line too. i cannot seem to get this thing to work, i'm using 1950hz for PTT and 2050hz for Monitor, but still cannot get it to work, and don't have another remote to try it on. If it's a tone remote, the terminal screws should be designated as "line 1+" and "line 1-", or possibly "L1+" and L1-".

It may have come over on the Mayflower, but the breadbox sized remotes with the techron clocks were waiting for them.

The T1604 and T1605 remotes should be similiar in thier connections.
According to the manual:
For two wire service, connect to screws 25 and 26.
For four wire service, RX audio to screws 25 and 26, and TX audio and control to screws 17 and 18.

Okay, here's your problem... looks like a T1611 is a DC Remote for a HEAR system, if you measure between terminals 8 & 9 you should read something a bit over 100 VDC.

I think the T16__ numbers throw people off, thinking the T means Tone, but Moto used T for both Tone and DC remote model numbers.

The T1610 & T1611 were the DC HEAR models, and the T1612 & T1613 were the Tone versions. The books I have are for the A versions, but the B's should be the same.

I should point out, it is possible that someone modified it for tone, but I'd say that's a pretty 'remote' chance.. ;)

That may be, this radio did come out of a Hospital, it has an old rotary dial on top of it, so i bet it was part of the hear system. Thanks for all the feedback

I know that this is an old, old, old post that I'm reviving, but it seems to be a good place to ask my question: Do any of you guys have any sort of literature about the T1600-series consoles that details the differences between model numbers and the options that are available.

I have a T1605CM that i eventually want to use to control something (not sure what, yet...probably whatever Radius I can get working with a L3276) at home just for the nostalgia, as I used to use one of these consoles as a volunteer EMS dispatcher years ago. I know there's easier, simpler ways to put old Motorola mobiles on the air but I'm just playing around.

Has anybody ever scanned the service manuals for these and put them online? Google isn't being very helpful.

I'm also thinking about replacing the wires between the console and the L3276 with a UHF link in the future, so if anybody has any info about how to do that, it'll be welcome.
