XTL radios suddenly read only columns

XTL radios suddenly read only columns

XTL 1500 and XTL 5000. Radios have programmed fine in the past. Suddenly after reading the radio when I go to change some data hovering over the column a pair of sunglasses appears below the curser and prohibitting any chages to the cells data. I found a checkbox in Radiowide that is for disabling read only but it won't let me check it.
