:I JUST GOT MY XTS3000 FROM NICK. IT TOOK A WHILE BUT WAS DEFINATELY WORTH IT BRAND NEW. NICK ALWAYS KEPT IN TOUCH AND SENT THE UNIT OVERNITE. EVEN INCLUDED AN EXTRA BATTERY. SAME RADIO SHAUN JUST GOT. NICK YOU'RE THE MAN. IF I DECIDE TO GET A
UHF 403-470 I WON'T HESITATE TO CALL YOU. THANKS AGAIN NICK. 73'S N4KVE.
Maybe I spoke too soon.... I dunno. But, tracking information from UPS was just a reference to the fact that billing took place. Which means, my radios haven't shipped. Calls to Watchbuddy have gone unanswered, and now I'm going on almost 1 1/2 months waiting for them to arrive. Every week bring a "they are shipping next week" - but they never arrive.
Folks, I've been a good customer of nick, but boy he sure has me worried right now. This doesn't even fit into Net-30 day terms.
None of the agencies that I am authorized on use any advanced features such as MDC, MODAT, and the like. My question is what use could I get out of any of the "Watchbuddy" features lets say using MURS for alteranate comms and private comms?
I think he's pointing out that there's good & bad in dealing with Nick. News flash...that pretty much happens with anybody you deal with. I know I get busy at work to the point of needing to prioritize jobs, which leads to some people waiting longer than others. It's obvious Nick does what he does outside of his "regular" work, so it's not surprising things sometimes get put on the back burner. Bottom line is...people always get satisfaction from Nick...sooner or later. If you're an impatient person, then pay full pop somewhere else & maybe get it sooner.
