SG,

Just wondering what those credentials might be? Prior to the Clinton administration, in my "previous life", I could carry onboard aircraft as well. Pre-boarding is always nice. :D I'm no longer in FLE so, I could be wrong but, it was my understanding that the Clinton administration decided that there was no need for anyone, FLE or not, to carry onboard commercial aircraft and implemented policy that prevented such.

Perhaps this policy has changed once again since 9/11/01 but, I would think that my understanding of the Clinton "all guns are bad guns" policy was correct. Otherwise, how do we explain the 15-some-odd FLEOs who were onboard the hijacked airliners not using them. Granted, not 100% of the people authorized to carry onboard did so when I was in but. I would think that at least 1 out of 15 would have and GUN trumps boxcutter all day long, every day of the week!

Just currious,

John

This is another "Nick", "Watchbuddy", whatever threads. They keep cropping up, usually from someone whining about how long it takes to get a factory-quivalent radio at less than 1/3 the factory price.

And no matter who says what, the thing takes on a life of it's own - and continues to go on and on and on and on................

He was asking for a moderator to lock this one up. They have locked 'em up in the past - he's probably wondering how this one slipped by.
