Does anyone know what error codes 29/10 and 28/10 on an Astro Spectra W4 mobile mean?

Thank you.

Interesting error codes. Gives me a throw back to the dual x9000 setup (two drawers, one head).

In a standard single radio x9000 setup 09/10 is secure failure and 08/10 is siren failure.

Now if you had the radio in a dual radio setup (one head, two drawers) and the PRIMARY radio had the same errors it would come up error 29/10 and 28/10. This is because the primary radio is addressed as 2 and the secodary radio was 4.

It doesn't come up with any other error codes does it?

HHHMMMMMM.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

According to my secret squirrel books, in a dual radio system:

01 changes to 21 for Main Radio
01 changes to 41 for aux radio
02 changes to 22 for main radio
02 changes to 42 for aux radio
09 changes to 29 from main radio
09 changes to 49 for aux radio

...So...

09/10 - Secure module not present (reprogram with secure disabled)

28/10 - ?

Either way, you need to disable the HRR option in the radio. Its looking for the 2nd receiver which you most likely don't have.
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
