Harris enters DMR/TRBO market

(sorry if off-topic)
Looks like Harris will be entering the DMR (TRBO) market with the new "Momentum" line, which appears to be made by Hytera.

Announcement due at IWCE 2012 in February.

That is a good catch. Thank you for posting that. Maybe Harris will eventually have a multi-band radio that includes P25 and Moto TRBO!

Harris could ruffle some Moto feathers if they introduced TRBO/DMR on the Unity...

Yes they would.....you just gotta hope that it is dynamic capability and does not require a reboot to operate in DMR 'waveform" mode.
Price compression will continue in the DMR market because of the worldwide acceptance.
