You don't have to post here, but is your serial # 326ABSxxxx ?

Shaun
My radio follows the same format for flash-code and serial #. Hey, it even came from NYC as well- the serial number 'ABS' shows the radio manufacture month and year of September 2001.

Just like new. My radio, however, was bought from a different batlabs user.

Good radio, nonethelss. It does/did everything I needed it to- analog and digital operation, trunked and conventional.

Basic and fun!

How did people get these radios? Were they sold off at auction? Or people just not give them back?

From what I gather, after a year of absolutely no use, the radios were sold off.

Hi

Ok now about the radios with that DPS and frimwarethat came from N.Y. It has come to light that they had been flashed from the big M with a mismatch version that is why they will not do the 9.6k control in even caused the hardware not to work right or even to get flashed the right way. But other wise they are good radios unless you need or ever need to have the 9.6k control channle.
