MCC5500 w/XTL5000 W9 ASTRO consolette

I have a new installation I've been working on and would like to get some input on an issue with the above combination.

The MCC5500 is equipped with mobile I-buttons to use the W9 radios, some conventional, others trunking, all with AIB not TRC remote boards. When I try to define a pager button, or try to setup a manual page the console will not let me choose any of these radios. If the W9 radios are the only ones on the console the only choice I have for radio is "Selected". I contacted tech support and was referred to the CSDM manual, which did not help. I believe the tech was trying to steer me into using a control head button that defines a specific zone/channel, then add that button to the channel control. Problem is, the XTL5000 doesn't allow. Has anyone had any success with this setup? My immediate solution is to add a tone remote controlled radio strictly for sending pages using multi-channel tone signalling.

Also, if I want to use an ADM server, I cannot select caller ID of any type for the mobile I-buttoned interfaces using the mobile signalling. Is there a work around for this other than upgrading to an ASTRO I-button?

You wont be able to alias the consolettes through the ADM or MCC, you have to create the alias list in the radio itself. Ill take a look at my MCC at work and see how I have the paging set up.

Edit: Looks like selected is the only option for mobile, just for future reference i believe the digital ibutton is the same price as the mobile, and will do both astro and mobile sb9600.

If running a W9 consoollette wiith the MCC5500, most of the function controls are performed through the computer's setup, such as the touch screen display.
I did the complete installation of a 4 station MCC5500 for the Coolidge, AZ PD, and all operations were done through the CSDM and CAB initial setup in the shop, with final setup and operation on site.
All Digital operations are setup with an I-button for digital ops, while standard analog is simply operated through each card without an I-button.
As for a standalone W9 with separate control head, I have no proper answer as to what the CSDM requires for such conditions.

Since it has been over 3 years since I did the install, I can't do a direct recall from memory without referring to my large collection of notes and photos during the install.
Swapping of the old consoles to the new was done 'hot' to keep the dispatch up and running without
