Batboard

Today I will be receiving my 1st TRBO radio. A UHF XPR6550. My friend whose system I will be using will be programming the radio. Most of the radios I have used in the past only need CPS/RSS at least as new as the CPS/RSS used to program the radio last. However, on the Astro 25 radios, the CPS has to be at least as new as the F/W. So on my 6550, the firmware is very new. 1.09.00 I believe. Will this radio need the newest CPS, or just what was used to program it the last time? Thanks for any help. GARY N4KVE

You will need CPS version 7.6 (build 384) or newer.
