I just noticed APX portable and mobile firmware R08.05.00, dated 6/20/2012, is up on MOL. There's just the zip file with the .cvn file; there's no other documentation or information about what's changed/fixed/broken in this release, at least that I could find.

Well I took a chance on 8.05 and bumped my APX with out problems. So far I can't see a changes between it and the 8.00 CVN.

Glad it loaded for you without incident. I'm always hesitant to be on the leading edge of a firmware update, especially if its released without any documentation about what's changed.

After my earlier post I was on MOL and noticed that info on 8.05 was there.

It does not. The secure board version stays the same and keys are unaffected.

There was a note on MOL about 08.00.00 that it was NOT to be utilzed with the Public Safety Speaker mic. This release doesn't have that note, so I have to assume that they fixed whatever was broken.
