Panel Recommendation for CDM1250 8 freq tone control

Post by cbroseinak »

Recommendation for a tone termination panel to control a CDM1250 for 8 frequency selection. System has a C200 and (2) T5600 controllers. Either the CPI TTP216 or Motorola L3276 tone panels. The only out of ordinary issue is that the tone line-up is not standard after F1 and F2, it jumps around abit and I do not have the capability to re-prog the T5600's to change it to standard so i'm hoping that I can get around it by programming the CDM1250 to get to where it needs to go.

I read the C200 and this is how it was set-up:

F1 1950
F2 1850
F3 1350
F4 1250
F5 1750
F6 1150
F7 950
F8 850

I guess if I buy the Motorola I can get Motorola to guide me thru the set-up/CPS of the CDM1250 to do more than F1 and F2 as that is all I have ever used them for.

What radios do you own?: Too many for the time I have.

Yow, that is a little weird.

Look at the Zetron 250 TRA, it might have a 'wild-card' or 'user defined' setup mode.

I just did several Midians TTC-1's. They will do F1 to F10 single output or F1 to F16 binary output. Any tone (reasonable) not just EIA tones can be assigned to any output function. It also has nifty options that other TRAs do not have. You will also need the separate programming gizmo, software on website.
Lots and lots of watts...

Thanks for your input, i'll check the Midian and Zetron out. Any other input about the CPI or Motorola would be helpful as well

CPI TTP216 panels are hard to beat, great product.

Little late here but the CPI TTP216 is programmable. You can program it as you have listed.
