I have a 5/8 wave telescopic antenna with a BNC connector and I want to replace the stock antenna of my GP2000 with this one. I've read in an older thread that the GP2000 has an MX connector. Won't I have any problem using the 5/8 antenna if I use an MX-BNC adapter? What "performance" issues should be expected?
