purpose of flat wrench p/n ntn8270a boxed with new xts3000?

see subject. our new xts3000 portables are arriving with a flat wrench in the box, part number ntn8270a. i can't find any explanation for it or imagine up any possible use for it.
so what is it for?

Probably used to attach PS microphone adapter to the radio....

Motorola supplied me with a baseball bat when I purchased XTS3000 CPS, I dont think a wrench could have done the job well enough! LOL

Or if you have a 357 Magnum laying around just take it to the back yard and put a few rounds into it.

The wrench is for a RF adapter that goes between the radio and the antenna for a coverta com XTVA. When you slide the radio in the RF adapter touches a contact for the RF to go to a RF amplifier. Just installed 20 of these in vehicles for 100 watt VHF amps. Doesn't work that bad but is inconvenient if you want to take them on and off.

They are also pretty dam expensive, $140.00 thats nonsense just to put a PSM on your radio and that is not including the mic LOL.

that from the days of Motorola specing high power radios being 110w mobiles on 110w or higher output conventional repeaters.
In other words just pump out as much as you can. Certain simplistic beauty to it.
Kinda goes against modern microwatt stuff, but give me a 110w on highband simplex and I'll talk all day!
