ASTRO DIU 3000 - MRTI 2000

Motorola's price book seems to have a possible conflict, so I was wondering if someone on the Batboard might be able to please help clarify.
There is a custom made Motorola interconnection cable (with a custom plug on each end) that connects the MRTI 2000 phone patch to/from the ASTRO DIU 3000. Under the ASTRO DIU 3000 section of the Motorola price book, it calls out this cable to be an FKN 4389 ($50). Or, if this cable is included as an accessory item with the DIU 3000 from the factory as part of the original order, it specifies the C54 option ($75) on the STIC-1 order form (I think this has since been listed as a C54BF, per xmo - Thanks!). BTW, it seems strange that the price with the factory order ($75) is HIGHER than the after sale price from APC at $50. Usually, the reverse is the case.
However, under the MRTI 2000 section of the Motorola price book, it calls out this (same?) cable to be a CDN 6021 ($95) to connect the MRTI 2000 to/from the ASTRO/DIU. The MRTI 2000 price sheet does not even refer to the newer ASTRO DIU 3000.
The ONLY difference I can see is that these part numbers are in reference to a MRTI 2000 interconnecting cable for the ASTRO DIU 3000 in the first case (FKN 4389), and in the second case this cable (CDN 6021) is specified as a MRTI 2000 interconnection cable for an ASTRO/DIU.
Xmo had kindly previously noted to me that the "ASTRO DIU 3000" and "ASTRO/DIU" are the SAME, except that the present ASTRO DIU 3000 is packaged to fit in a rack or cabinet, whereas the previous ASTRO/DIU was a desk top unit housed in a plastic case, very similar in appearance to the T5600 tone remote desk console unit. The ASTRO DIU 3000 has replaced the discontinued ASTRO/DIU.
Is it possible that Motorola changed the MRTI interface cable connector on the ASTRO/DIU vs. the ASTRO DIU 3000 unit? I notice that the RSS for these two units is the same. I was under the impression that the circuit boards are the same, and thus the connectors, and it seems hard to believe that they would change the connectors.
Please enlighten, and Thanks!
