M120 rf power mod.

I've read the post about modifying a maxtrac to turn the rf power output down when using one as a link transmitter,
but is that mod the same for a m120/130 or gm300? I have a M120 (m44gmc20a3aa) that I want it down to 1 watt
but this board looks much different than the maxtrac shown in the article I read. Are there any specific mods for
the m120 or gm300's?
