I have MTX9250, model number AAH25WCH4GB6AN, that I have been playing around with and I cannot get the CPS to let me add more than 9 conventional personalities. I thought these were capable of at least 49 conventionals or am I missing something here?

Yes, the radio is capable of 49 conventional personalities. Make sure that you have deleted all of the trunking personalities. If you need a sample codeplug, let me know.

It won't let me delete all of the trunking personalities, it says "additional deletes not allowed" when I try to delete the last one.

I know you know what you have there, but it sounds like an MTX950, which is the non display version, I actually like the '950 better. I found the '9250 difficult to use. The '950 has just a knob and only the first 9 positions work. I wonder if someone could have somehow shoehorned a '950 codeplug into that thing. As far as I know, there is no such thing a "lab" software for these. If you are in an area with more than 49 900 MHz repeaters, get a Kenwood TK481.
