Long Squelch Tail on CDM and HT1250 via repeater

Post by drp10275 »

I just reprogrammed some CDM and HT1250 radios operating on a repeater system and I'm having an issue with a long squelch tail on those radios only. The repeater system configuration is the following.

Repeater = MTR2000
Receivers = 2 Astro Tac
Comparitor = Spectra Tac

The long squelch tail is only heard by the 2 Astro Tac receivers. The receiver on the MTR2000 is operating correctly with the reverse burst. All other radios on the system are working properly with all system receivers. XTL, XTS, APX and MCS.
Also worth mentioning, the subscriber radios had been reprogrammed to TX = DPL and RX = PL. The fixed equipment to the opposite, TX = PL and RX = DPL. This was done to alleviate an interference problem between the repeaters transmitter and receiver.

Anyone with any suggestions on what the problem might be would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you using DPL turn off codes?

The turn off code box is not checked in that personality.

I checked that box off on that personality in the software and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks.
