XTL5000 mdc post data mute

Post by asmitty0010 »

I've searched and searched. I can't for the life of me get my xtl5000s to mute the annoying MDC data burst. System is using post ID. Tried a low cost time and high. Neither one is changing the length of the mdc burst.

Looking for any help.

Thanks

Also is it safe to assume you have DOS enabled? With post PTT ID you will always get a little chirp since the DOS doesn't kick in til the signaling is recognized by the radio but it sounds like you are hearing the whole MDC chirp?
