Batboard

This has me worried...
My trusty 2600 has gone straight to CAL on power up the last two days.
Works fine after going thru its internal CAL.
But has never done this before.
Anybody know what it means.
My best guess is that there must be a memory battery that has gone dead or something.

Hey - it's an easy fix.
Locate the battery on the Processor Card. Its at the top of the card near the back.
It's a 3.6V NiCad battery. Exact size/shape is preferred, but it isn't really critical as it's only backup.

COMP-18-3-NMH is what I use

Went to Batteries Plus and while they didn't have something with the same form factor, they put together three 1.2 v NIMH cells of a similar size to make a battery that seems to work just fine.
