Motorola Impres Charger Firmware Upgrade

I have a Motorola Impres single unit charger. It is marked V.3.30 on the bottom. I have used it in the past to charge my XTS5000s. Now I have an APX7000. I bought the cup, but do I have to update the charger on the firmware, too?

Don't quote me on this but I believe firmware 3.40 is required to work properly with APX's.
New firmware can only be a good thing!

Matt is correct. v3.40 is the minimum required to charge APX batteries.
