Batboard

I have a spectra that only seems to do type I it wont let you change the type any where I can see. Unless I'm doing it wrong?

So can someone tell me if that can be fixed? Can one send in a codeplug from a newer radio with the same model by using Lab software?

Please I need help with this I'm a GE nut not to much up on Motorola.

Try to add a new system and tell it it is type II. If that doesn't work, you may have a truly old radio, but most all spectras would do type II and type I
